How to Select the Play Mode on the Sony CFD-F10 Boombox

The Sony CFD-F10 Boombox provides you with a source to listen to your music that is so easy even a child can do it. Read on to learn how to select the play mode on the Sony CFD-F10 Boombox.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Sony CFD-F10 Boombox
• CDs

Play on Repeat

1. Press "Mode" repeatedly on the Sony CFD-F10 Boombox until "Rep 1" is displayed on the screen.
2. Select the single track you want to repeat by pressing "Forward" and "Backward" or repeat the entire CD by pressing "Mode" until "Rep All" is displayed on the screen.
3. Press "Play."

Program Tracks

4. Press "Mode" repeatedly on the Sony CFD-F10 Boombox until "Pgm" is displayed on the screen. Alternatively, press "Pgm Rep" to repeat the programmed tracks.
5. Find the first track you want to play by pressing "Forward" and "Backward" or by keying in the track's number on the remote control
6. Press "Dspl/Ent/Mem" to select the first track.
7. Repeat this process for up to 20 tracks.
8. Press "Play."

Shuffle Play

9. Press "Mode" repeatedly until "Shuf" is displayed on the screen. Alternatively, you can press "Mode" until "Shuf Rep" is displayed to repeat the shuffled tracks.
10. Press "Play."

Tips & Warnings

• When you press "Mode," the modes appear in the following order: Rep 1, Rep All, Shuf, Shuf Rep, Pgm, Pgm Rep and none.
• Check the order of the tracks you will be playing before you start by pressing "Dsp/Ent/Mem."
• The program is saved until you press "Open/Close" to remove the CD or "Stop" twice to erase the program.
• You cannot use "Forward" and "Backward" to locate a specific track when playing shuffle or program mode.
• Cancel any special mode by pressing "Mode" until the selected mode is not displayed on the screen.
• Press "Stop" before pressing "Open/Close" to remove the CD.
• The laser that reads the CD is harmful if shined directly into your eyes.
