How to Create a Program List With the Sony DVP-CX875P CD/DVD Player

The Sony DVP-CX875P CD/DVD Player features the Program Play facility. With the help of the Program Play facility, you can arrange the titles, chapters or tracks on the disc and play them in a desired order. This facility can be used for DVD-Vs, CDs and VCDs only. A maximum of 99 items can be programmed in 1 disc and you can also create distinct programs for all the discs in the player. Following are the steps to create a program list with the Sony DVP-CX875P CD/DVD Player.

Things You’ll Need:

• Discs
• Sony DVP-CX875P CD/DVD Player
• DVD remote control

1. Press "Display" twice on the DVD remote control when playing a DVD-V or VCD. In case of a CD, press "Display" once. This will display the Control Menu.
2. Use ↑/↓ buttons to select “Program.”
3. Press “Enter” to display the options for “Program.”
4. Select “Set→” by pressing ↑/↓ buttons.
5. Press “Enter” to display the programming options.
6. Press → to start the programming of the first disc.
7. Select the disc to be programmed by using ↑/↓ buttons. Press “Enter” when you have selected the disc.
8. Use ↑/↓ to select the chapter, track or title that you want to be programmed.
9. Repeat the steps from 4 to 8 for programming other discs, titles, chapters or tracks.
10. Press the “Play” button to start Program Play.
11. Press "Clear" to stop Program Play. Press "Display" repeatedly to turn off display.

Tips & Warnings

• You can also select Program play by pressing “Program” on the player.
• You can use Repeat play mode or Shuffle play mode for the programmed tracks, chapters or discs while playing the contents in the programmed order.
• The Program Play function cannot be used with Data CDs and DVD-RWs in VR mode.
