Check with the airline before booking your ticket to determine what type of aircraft you will be traveling on. Vietnam Airways has had three fatal crashes within 10 years, but has since eliminated all of the equipment involved in these types of accidents. As these statistics make some travelers uncomfortable, it's best to do your research before you fly.
