How to Book Travel on Scat Air
Scat Air is a small charter airline based in Kazakhstan that offers limited flights within the country. Follow these steps to book a flight.

Click the button on the right-hand side on the homepage of Scat Air's Web site. The text is in Russian; but that button will give you a flight schedule and ticket information. The button on the left is for administrative actions, and requires a user name and password.

Click the top link on the left-hand side of the next page for an extensive flight schedule.

Read the detailed flight information, departure dates and times, routes, aircraft information and prices. Be aware that all this information is in Russian. Select your desired flight, embarkation point and destination from the list.

Go back to the preceding page and click the second link on the left-hand side once you have all your necessary information. Note that pop-up blockers will have to be disabled. Select an embarkation point and destination from the drop-down menus provided, and click the button with the arrows on it.

Scan the list of available flights matching your search criteria. Note that depending on your destination and embarkation point, few if any flights may be available. Click the link on the left for a calendar and list of dates that the flight is available.

Know that communication with this airline will probably be most successful if you can manage to send a message in Russian. You might want to employ the help of an online translation engine or translation software, or better still, a friend or acquaintance who speaks Russian.

Remember to include your name and contact information in your email, as well as the details of your impending travel plans. If you can, include the flight on which you wish to travel, as well as dates and times and your desired route.

Ask about ticket costs, services provided by the airline and baggage stipulations before you commit to book a flight. After booking, retain a receipt and confirm your flight two to three days prior to take-off.

The Scat Air Web site is entirely in Russian.
Unfortunately, there is no direct booking for English speakers, either on the phone over the Internet. You can, however, use an online language translation engine to learn more about the airline.
