How to Book Travel on Starflyer

Starflyer is a Japanese airline based in Kitakyushu. It currently provides service only to Tokyo International Airport, but plans to expand into China and Korea soon. Follow these steps to book travel on Starflyer.

Instructions

  1. Book Travel through the Starflyer Website

    • 1

      Call StarFlyer directly to speak to a booking agent by dialing 011 (+81) 050 2015 3300. Or, access their Web site (see Resources below).

      On the homepage, scroll down to the very bottom of the main page and click the "Timetable" link that's second from the left. Select a flight and time that are convenient for you. Note that Starflyer has several flights from Kitakyushu to Tokyo and back scheduled every day throughout the day.

      To purchase tickets, click the "Reference" button, the very first link across the top of the page, and enter in your flight information. Click the "Reserve Seat" button to book the flight.

      To confirm your reservation, click the "Confirm" button to the left of the "Reserve Seat" button.

      To make a change to your reservation, click the "Change" button to the right of the "Reserve Seat" button.

      For information on taxi service, handicapped parking, car rentals, and hotels, use the links below the "Reserve Seat" button on the reservation page.

      Know that Starflyer no longer has street car, monorail, or shuttle-bus service. It does have taxi service.

      Find safety information, luggage information, and a list of services and hospitalities provided by Starflyer by clicking the "Service" button, the fourth of the black buttons across the top of the page.

      Discover available discounts, seat assignments and information on loss of tickets, payment and boarding by clicking the "Procedures" button, the third black button across the top of the page.

      Sign up for a mileage program or redeem earned miles by clicking the "Mileage" button, the fifth of the black buttons across the top of the page. Don't forget to inform the airline in advance that you intend to use your miles.

      To contact Starflyer with problems or questions, click the "Contact Us" link in the box at the bottom of the mileage page. Fill out the next form.

Tips & Warnings

  • All phone numbers include the U.S. international prefix "011." When calling internationally outside the United States, substitute that "011" with "00."

  • All country codes are within parentheses and begin with a "+" sign.

  • Starflyer does not offer direct online booking for English speakers.

  • Prices are listed in yen.

  • There is an English version of the Starflyer Web site available, though many features are often under construction. In order to book travel on the Starflyer Web site, you must use the Japanese version.
