3. Rent an apartment for your stay. There are many apartments for rent from $100 to $500 a month. Be cautious not be taken advantage of, as renters in the past have been known to be overcharged if the owner assumes they are wealthy.

4. Consider a bed-and-breakfast stay. Some Dushanbe bed and breakfasts offer the same luxury items as many of the hotels, including excellent meals and Internet access.

5. Research your lodging thoroughly. There are luxury or near-luxury accommodations within Dushanbe, but unfortunately the listings of accommodations for perusal online are limited. You may want to consider booking through a travel agent for convenience.
