Choose Cheap Accommodations in Florida

Step1
Book accommodations via Florida's official travel site, Visit Florida (see Resources, below) or get information over the phone at (888) 7-FLAUSA.
Step2
Try to book your accommodations as early as possible, particularly if you are visiting Miami or Daytona Beach. You can find a room in a chain hotel for roughly $120.
Step3
Find a hotel in Orlando. Book your accommodations in a quiet residential district away from the crowds. Enjoy rooms from as low as $40.
Step4
Check for package deals. While resort accommodations can be expensive, you may be able to book your flight and hotel stay for around $600 per person. Check and see if these rates include deals at local tourist attractions and theme parks.
Step5
Get your cheap accommodations in Tampa Bay, Florida. You can get a room close to the university for about $60 per night.

Prepare for Your Hotel Stay in Florida

Step1
Charter your flight into Florida and arrive in one of 38 airports. You should be able to find one conveniently close to your accommodations.
Step2
Book your travel in the off-season. You'll face smaller crowds, lower prices and fewer lines when sightseeing.
Step3
Find shuttles from your hotel. You can check with your hotel to see if they offer this service. Expect to tip the driver.

Know Your Destination

Step1
Mingle with the crowds in Tallahassee. It's the capitol of Florida and offers a lot of options for cheap accommodations.
Step2
Have a romantic trip. Florida has plenty of idyllic settings for honeymoons and anniversaries, including horse farms, islands and resorts.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try to match your accommodations to your interests. You can choose your favorite attraction and then find accommodations within walking distance. Check out accommodations close to major universities like Tampa Bay, or find a cheap hotel as close as possible to Walt Disney World, Epcot Center, Universal Studio and Sea World in Orlando.
