Tips & Warnings

  • Aer Lingus closes check-in for all of its flights 45 minutes prior to departure.

  • In late 2006, Aer Lingus battled hostile takeover attempts by a competing Irish airline. Though a takeover seemed unlikely, travelers should confirm their carrier when booking travel with Aer Lingus.
