In the late 1990s, a number of new airlines were launched in Europe. One of these was Champagne Airlines. This small airline offers a few flights, executive services, and air-taxi services. It may be more appropriate for transporting goods and company leaders and less convenient for booking scheduled flights. However, it is a good option for executives interested in personalized, luxury services.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Telephone or fax machine with international dialing capability.

    Compile Air Champagne Contact Information

  1. Step 1

Keep in mind that Air Champagne is a small company which will provide you with personal service. The chairman of the airline is Mr. Eric Poncin.

  2. Step 2

The best option for obtaining tickets is to visit a travel agent or contact the company directly.
    Contact the company by telephone at 011 +33 (0) 3 26 50 78 78.
    You can also fax them at 011 +33 (0) 3 26 50 18 28.
When calling internationally outside the United States, substitute "011" with "00."

  3. Know Your Airline: Air Champagne

  4. Step 1

Be assured that this company has been in business for some time, so it is not a newcomer to the business of providing personalized executive travel in France. Headquartered in Reims, Champagne Airlines began flights in 1998.

  5. Step 2

Understand that this is a small company with a small fleet. Air Champagne has a fleet of 3 Fairchild Metro III aircraft, one Cessna Citation, and one Beech King.

  6. Step 3

Choose your services from Champagne Airlines. These include limited scheduled Mediterranean and European flights, air-taxi services, and executive services.

  7. Step 4

Know the limited flight locations of Air Champagne. The airline has major hubs at Le Havre Octeville Airport (LEH) and Le Bourget Airport in Paris. In 2005, Champagne Airlines discontinued its only scheduled route between Le Havre and Toulouse.

  8. Book Your Tickets for Travel on Air Champagne

  9. Step 1

Be aware that you will need to book travel tickets either in person or via telephone or fax. This may seem inconvenient, but try to view it as a rare opportunity to enjoy the personalized service offered by a small company.

  10. Step 2

Visit the Champagne Airlines locations at the Reims, France airport or the Le Havre Octeville Airport (LEH) and Le Bourget Airport in Paris to book tickets in advance.

  11. Step 3

Bargain for the best deal, particularly if you have some flexibility on your travel plans.

  12. Step 4

Remember to get confirmation numbers for the flight that you book on Air Champagne. Also be sure to get the name of your customer service representative, since this is a small company, and you may wish to deal with the same person if any questions come up before your flight.

Tips & Warnings
  • The official Web site of Champagne Airlines is no longer in service, and most online booking services do not allow users to book tickets with this airline. The best option is to visit a travel agent or contact the company directly.
  • Note that small airlines frequently go out of business and that telephone and contact information is always subject to change.
