Air Corridor is an extremely small domestic airline that serves cities in Mozambique. Its fleet is limited to two 737 aircraft and flies to only five domestic cities. Headquartered in Nampula, Air Corridor is an alternative to larger airlines for travelers with destinations in Mozambique.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

    Book Tickets on Air Corridor

  1. Step 1

Use a travel agent. There is no simpler way to book tickets on Air Corridor, since the Air Corridor Web site is unfinished. A travel agent may have access to phone numbers or online booking that a tourist may not.

  2. Step 2

Book tickets at the Nampula International Airport. Go to an Air Corridor agent at the airport and book tickets directly from the company.

  3. Learn About Destinations in Mozambique before You Book Seats on Air Corridor

  4. Step 1

Consider visiting the capital in Maputo. Maputo, on the Indian Ocean, is Mozambique's largest city and offers the conveniences of most large international cities, including nightlife, good food and museums.

  5. Step 2

Explore Pemba, a port in a northern province of Mozambique. Travel to Pemba for great local shopping, as well as excellent scuba diving and snorkeling.

  6. Possess Proper Documentation before Flying on Air Corridor

  7. Step 1

Be sure your passport is valid. Laws in Mozambique require that identification be carried at all times. Travelers can be checked by law enforcement for identification at any time.

  8. Step 2

Obtain a visa before departure. Mozambique requires that travelers from the United States have a visa, although visas are often available for purchase upon arrival.

  9. Know Mozambique Culture and Climate before Booking Tickets on Air Corridor

  10. Step 1

Be aware of safety precautions. The United States State Department advises travelers to be careful while driving because of poor road conditions and carjackings. In addition, street crime in larger cities, such as purse snatchings and muggings, is common.

  11. Step 2

Familiarize yourself with Mozambique's culture. The official language of Mozambique is Portuguese, though various other native languages are spoken there as well. It is a very poor country with limited facilities. Finding people who speak fluent English will be difficult outside of the capital of Maputo.
