      EgyptAir highly recommends booking your travel with them as far in advance as possible. You may book through your travel agent or EgyptAir's Call Center.

      Arrive at the airport at least two hours in advance of your flight on EgyptAir to check in. If you are connecting with an EgyptAir flight, plan your travel so that you can check in at least one hour in advance.

      EgyptAir's baggage policy is different depending on whether you are traveling to/from the United States or on all other EgyptAir flights. You may check in two bags if your flight originates or ends in the United States, total baggage not to exceed 32 kg. All other passengers may check no more than 40 kg of baggage.

Tips & Warnings

  • All phone numbers include the United States international prefix "011." When calling internationally from outside the United States, check which prefix to use. All country codes are within parentheses and begin with a "+" sign.

  • The EgyptAir Web site does not currently offer online booking, although this is slated to appear in the near future. You can, however, look up flight times and routes.

  • Visas are required for travel to Egypt but may be obtained by U.S. citizens at the Cairo International Airport upon arrival for a fee of $15. Travelers are advised to consult the Egyptian Consulate for details and regulations.
