Travel in Style

Step1
Spend some time in the club cars and lounges on board. Have a drink or a cigar and play a few hands of your favorite card game. Meet and greet your fellow passengers.
Step2
Choose a Pullman suite for about $1,300 per person. Kick back on a couch that turns into either two twin beds or a double bed. The suite also includes a private bathroom with shower.
Step3
Rest comfortably in a deluxe suite for around $2,000 per person. With 118 square feet, there is room enough for a lounge, an in-room bathroom with a shower and twin or double beds.
Step4
Book the Royal suite for about $2,600 per person. Soak in the old-fashioned tub or take a quick shower. Stretch your legs in the 172-square-foot space and get a good night's sleep in twin or double beds.
Step5
Partake of the fine cuisine on the train. A team of chefs prepares a wide selection of delicious food and drinks every day.

Enjoy the Ride

Step1
Learn about the history of the area when you stop for a prepaid visit to the Museum of Natural History in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
Step2
Sit and observe nature in the glassed-in observation car on the back of the train. Look for native animals as you cross the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe.

  • All meals, beverages and excursions are included in the fare.
  • The Rovos Rail Web site offers information on travel times, but it does not provide an online booking option.
