Ontario Northland offers passenger rail services on board the Northlander (Cochrane to Toronto), the Little Bear (Cochrane to Moosonee), the Polar Bear Express (Cochrane to Moosonee excursion travel) and the Dream Catcher Express (North Bay to Temagami excursion travel). Find Schedules and Train Times for the Northlander Route

1. Find train times by calling 800-461-8558, or by visiting the "Rail Passenger Services" page on the Ontario Northland Web site (see Resources below).

2. On the "Rail Passenger Services" page, choose "Northlander" from the left-hand menu, under "Rail Passenger Services."

3. Choose "Schedules and Fares."

4. Choose your departure city from the drop-down menu box and click "Submit."

5. Select your destination from the drop-down menu and click "Submit."

6. View the train departure and arrival times and fares.

7. Print the information you need to plan your trip.

Find Schedules and Train Times for the Little Bear Route

1. Visit the Ontario Northland "Rail Passenger Services" Web page.

2. Select "Little Bear" from the left-hand menu. It's under "Rail Passenger Services."

3. Choose "Schedules and Fares."

4. Select your departure city from the drop-down menu box and click "Submit."

5. Click on your destination from the drop-down menu and click "Submit."

6. View the train departure and arrival times and fares.

7. Print the information you need to plan your trip.

Tips & Warnings

• Check the status of any train on the four train routes on the Web site by clicking "Train status" under the route name.

• Ontario Northland gives discounts to travelers aged 60 and over (10 percent), to students (15 percent) and children aged 2 to 11 (50 percent).

• Special discounts may be available for travel to and from medical appointments and funeral services.

• Family discounts, group discounts and attendant discounts (for travelers with special needs) may also be available.

• Arrival, departure and connection times are not guaranteed by the company.

• You may not bring alcohol for personal consumption aboard trains. Any alcohol purchased onboard must be consumed where it's served.

• Since reserved seating is not required, tickets purchased the day of travel are subject to availability. Prepaid tickets are assessed a service charge.
