  2. Step 2

    Decide when you want to travel. Winter is the best time to visit India because the weather is sunny and pleasant. The Royal Orient does not run from May to August because the summers are so hot and dry that tourists generally stay away.

  3. Know the Itinerary of the Royal Orient

  4. Step 1

    Begin and end your trip in Delhi, India's capital. Take the time to explore this fascinating city. You may want to arrive a few days early or stay a few days after the tour so you have enough time to see all of the attractions.

  5. Step 2

    Explore several cities in Rajasthan next. At Chittorgarh and Udaipur, you will tour the main attractions including Chittor Fort and Udaipur's City Palace.

  6. Step 3

    Tour the historical attractions of Junagarh, Veraval and Somnath in Gujarat the following day. The highlight is the Shiva Temple located in Somnath by the Arabian Sea.

  7. Step 4

    Visit the Asiatic Lions Sasangir and St. Paul's Church of Dilwara next. You'll also enjoy time at Ahmedpur/Mandvi beach.

  8. Step 5

    Tour the Jain temples of Palitana and the Vishalla village of Sarkhej on the fifth day.

  9. Step 6

    Spend one whole day in the magificent city of Ahmedabad. There are many tourist attractions and lots of shopping.

  10. Step 7

    Wrap up your trip with a visit to Jaipur, the Pink City. Don't forget your camera.
