1. Call Canada By Rail at [phone] to book travel, or visit their Web site (see Resources below).

2. Exchange U.S. dollars for Canadian dollars at the train station kiosk. Exchanges can be done on the train, but it is not recommended as you may not receive the best rate. Credit cards are widely accepted, but you'll be happy to have some Canadian cash on hand.

3. Decide where you want to depart from and how long you'd like to travel for. If you are traveling from the U.S., consider flying into Vancouver or Toronto and leave from there.
