Choose a well-heeled luxury hotel in Rio de Janeiro's Downtown. Walk to most of Rio's most popular tourist attractions, important monuments and phenomenal examples of local architecture. A short drive to the beaches, these locations offer excellent amentities at lower prices than you'll find in most of the beach towns. Expect to pay between $38 and $95 per night.
Step4
Stay in a luxury high-rise hotel in Copacabana and enjoy easy access to one of the world's most recognizable and famous beaches. Experience world-class amenities in the heart of this thriving beach community and enjoy the white sands and endless sunshine immortalized in film and song. Prices per night range from $70 to over $330.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you're planning on visiting during Carnival or New Year's, book hotel accommodations at least a year in advance. The hotels fill completely. Last-minute rooms are almost impossible to find.
  • Take into consideration that prices during Carnaval and New Year's can be double or even triple the amounts quoted for the rest of the year, particularly for rooms with a view of the wild party on the streets below.
