3. Book a room near the Depot in downtown Put-in-Bay in late May to early June. A 55-minute tour narrated tour begins at the Depot and explores the history of the town and the island.
4. Choose a hotel that has an on-site restaurant: You don't want to leave town without having one of the town's famous walleye dinners. (Walleye is a kind of fish). Fine hotel restaurants cater to the local fishing industry's abundant supply of delicious fish.
5. Find luxury hotels near the Put-in-Bay harbor, and be within minutes of the area's boat docks. Jet boats and ferries make daily runs between the mainland and both Put-in-Bay and nearby Middle Bass Island.
