2. For easy travel to the Convention Center and a variety of entertainment opportunities, book accommodations in the downtown area. Rates start at around $40 for 2-star hotels.
3. Stay on the north side of Dayton to be near the U.S. Air Force Museum. Accommodations range from $40 to $50.
4. Find great shopping opportunities when you choose accommodations near the Dayton Mall. Check into a 3-star national hotel chain for around $90 per night.
5. To enjoy the splendor of a historic homes in one of Dayton, stay at a bed and breakfast inn.

Getting There

6. Fly into the James M. Cox Dayton International Airport, located in the north metropolitan area. Nonstop service is available to most major cities in the United States.
7. By car, Dayton can be reached via Interstates 70 and 75, which cross near the airport north of Dayton.
8. For the most flexibility, travel locally by car. Public transit offers several bus routes within the county but not locally. Note for drivers: Dayton's downtown streets are straight and wide with two full lanes in either direction.
