How to Create a Program List With the Sony DVP-CX995V CD/DVD Player

The Sony DVP-CX995V allows you to play up to 99 items or tracks in the order you wish. Follow these steps to create your program list:

Step1
Press the "Display" or "File" button twice to start the process. The Control Menu appears.
Step2
Using the arrow keys to navigate, select "Program," which takes you to the program options screen.
Step3
Find the list of programs by pressing "Enter" at the Set option.
Step4
Press the right arrow key. This prepares the player to program the first disc.
Step5
Select any disc by pressing the up/down arrow keys. Press "Enter." The pointer moves to the track row.
Step6
Select the track number from the track column by pressing the number button or arrow keys.
Step7
Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 to select other tracks. Press "Play" to start. You can restart the program list play by pressing "Play" again after it stops.
Step8
Go back to normal play mode by pressing "Clear" or "Off" from the menu you invoked in step 3.
Step9
To turn off the display, press the "Display/File" button continuously until the display closes.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can change or cancel the program list you created by selecting the program numbers from the program menu.
  • To cancel the entire program list, press the "All Clear" button under "Program Play," and then press "Enter" to confirm.
  • For data CDs, press "Display/File" once.
  • Do not upload an empty slot into the player, or the disc type won’t be displayed.
