With all of the really great things you can do with your iPod, the only limitation you might have is not knowing how to make the most of your cool new gadget. If you have an iPod that can display video, you can buy games from the iTunes store and play them on your iPod. With these easy to follow instructions, you will be playing games on your iPod in a few minutes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Turn on your computer. iTunes is available for purchase through the iTunes Store. Getting there is easy; buying the games is even easier.

  2. Step 2

Select the iTunes icon on your computer. Once you get there, click on the iTunes Store option. This should take you directly to the iTunes store online.

  3. Step 3

Click Games in the iTunes store options. This should be on the left hand side menu area. When you click on the Games area, a menu of all the games will pop up.

  4. Step 4

Shop around for a game (or games) that you find to be fun. Many games will have demos that you can play to decide if you really want them. This is an excellent way to not wind up with a game that has a really interesting description, but when playing, is not as fun as you thought it might be.

  5. Step 5

Click Buy Game when you have decided on the game that is right for you. You can pay for your games with a credit card or a PayPal account.

  6. Step 6

Connect your iPod to your computer. The beauty of using iTunes to download games to your iPod is that the games will automatically load to your iPod after you connect it through the USB port.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always try and play a demo of the game before you buy it. Descriptions are nice, but can be misleading as to the awesomeness of the game.
  • You can only play iTunes games for the iPod on your iPod. They will not work on your computer.
  • You must have a video display on your iPod in order to play games on it.
