Things You’ll Need:
- Television with Component Video or YUV-Progressive Scan connection
- Composite Video Cable (Yellow cable included with DVD player)
- Cyber Home CH-DVD 300 DVD Player
- Component Video connector cable (purchased separately)
Before Connecting Your DVD Player
Step1
Determine whether your television supports Progressive Scan or Component Video output.
Step2
Purchase a set of three Component Video Cables.
Step3
Follow the instructions below to connect your television to the DVD player in the composite video mode so that you can activate the appropriate video output settings.
Connect Your DVD to the Television With the Composite Video
Step1
Use the yellow Video Composite Cable to connect the Composite Video Out on the back of the DVD player to the Video IN connection on your television set.
Step2
Turn on the television and the DVD player. The Cyber Home Splash Screen will appear on the screen.
Changing the Video Output Setting
Step1
Press setup on your remote control to enter the onscreen setup menu.
Step2
Press setup and the arrow key to switch from the System to the Video setup menu.
Step3
Press the right arrow key to enter the Video menu.
Step4
Use the up and down arrow keys to highlight the Video Output selection on the onscreen menu.
Step5
Use the right arrow key on the remote control to switch the Video Output selection to YCbCr.
Step6
Press Enter to save the setting.
Step7
Use the down arrow to move to Scan Mode.
Step8
Use the right and left arrow keys to switch the scan mode.
Step9
Select Interlaced for Component Video and Progressive for YUV-Progressive Scan.
Step10
Press Enter to save the setting.
Step11
Press Setup to exit the setup menu.
Change the Video Input Settings
Step1
Connect the Component Video Cable to the DVD player, matching the colors of the outputs and jacks.
Step2
Connect the Component Video Cable to the corresponding plugs on the television set.
Step3
Disconnect the Video composite cable from the television and DVD player.
Step4
Select the Video Input channel on your television that corresponds to the connection you’ve made. This may be called Input 3 or Video 3.
Step5
You should now see the DVD player’s splash screen on your television set.
