How to Connect the CyberHome CH-DVD 300 DVD Player to a Receiver

If you want to get the best sound possible out of your new DVD player, follow the simple steps below to connect your CyberHome DVD player to a receiver.

Things You'll Need:

  • Digital Coaxial Audio Cable
  • Cyber Home CH-DVD 300 DVD Player
  • Receiver
  1. Step 1

    Purchase a coaxial digital audio cable to use for this connection from a local electronics, audio or computer supply store.

  2. Step 2

    Turn off both the DVD player and the receiver.

  3. Step 3

    Locate the input labeled Digital Out/Coaxial on the back of the DVD player.

  4. Step 4

    Connect one end of the coaxial digital audio cable to the Digital Out/Coaxial input on the back of the DVD player.

  5. Step 5

    Connect the other end of the coaxial digital audio cable to the Coaxial Audio Digital In input on your receiver.

  6. Step 6

    Follow the instructions on your receiver to adjust the source setting for Digital Audio in to the DVD player.

  7. Step 7

    Turn on the DVD player and the receiver.

  8. Step 8

    Adjust settings as needed for best volume and sound.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always be sure that power is off to both receiver and DVD player before connecting and disconnecting coaxial cables.
