How to Play a Video CD in Random Order on the Sony DVP-NS41P CD/DVD Player

Using the shuffle feature included with the Sony DVP-NS41P CD/DVD Player, you can watch your favorite comic’s standup routine in a random order. Randomize your photo slideshow to see pictures played in a mixed up pattern as well as playing accompanying music in a random fashion. Here's how to do it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

• Television or input device (amplifier/receiver or projector)
• A DVD or Video CD of your choice
• Sony DVP-NS41P
• Remote control with two AA batteries installed

1. Turn on the television, projector and/or amplifier.
2. Press the POWER button on either the DVD remote or the front of the DVD player.
3. Cycle through the input selector on your television menu so the signal from the DVD player appears on the screen.
4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front of the DVD player.
5. Gently lay your DVD into the disc tray, with the play side down and the image side up.
6. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front of the DVD player again. The disc tray will retract back into the DVD player.
7. Press DISPLAY on your remote control. The DISPLAY button is located just outside the circular key pad, in the lower right corner.
8. Use the arrow buttons to select SHUFFLE then press ENTER.
9. Select the TITLES and CHAPTERS you wish to add to your shuffle list.
10. Press ENTER again to play your selections in shuffle mode.

Tips & Warnings

• To turn off shuffle mode and return to regularly ordered play, select OFF on the DISPLAY menu.
