To fully enjoy your Phillips DVD player, you first must adjust the picture setting. Here's how to do it.

Things You'll Need:

  • Philips DVP642 Progressive Scan DVD Player
  1. Step 1

    Open the DVD tray and insert the disc.

  2. Step 2

    Press "Preview" before playing the DVD. Nine thumbnails will appear on the screen.

  3. Step 3

    Press the double left and right arrows to display the pictures on other "pages."

  4. Step 4

    Use the up, down, left and right arrows to highlight a picture.

  5. Step 5

    Press OK for playback.
