1. Select "Settings" in the main menu. The settings menu will appear and you will be given a few options on different ways to change the operation of your iRiver Clix.

2. Go to the "Sounds" menu. The sounds menu will appear and you will be presented with options concerning EQ levels, 3D screens, and fade-in options.

3. Select the "Custom EQ" option. You will be presented with numerous options allowing you to dial in specific settings for bass, treble, and presence.

4. Dial in the settings you desire. This can be done by listening to a piece of music and fooling around with the different options until it sounds the way you like it.
