How to View a Playlist in iTunes

There are a few changes you can make to view a playlist in iTunes. You do not have to be stuck with the default settings. These are the simple steps to use to view a playlist in iTunes.

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer
• iTunes account

1. Open iTunes. Click on the iTunes icon on your computer’s desktop or menu.
2. Select a playlist. Decide on a playlist that you would like to view. To display the list, simply click on the name of the playlist in the "Playlist" column on the left hand side of iTunes.
3. Change how the play list is sorted. The default setting for how the songs are sorted is by artist in alphabetical order. You can change this by clicking on the title of each of the categories available.
4. Move a column. You can reposition the columns to your liking. Click on the column title and drag the column to wherever you would like in the playlist to give it a different order of columns.
5. Play the playlist. Select a song you would like to hear and click on the "Play" button at the top left corner of iTunes.

Tips & Warnings

• When using Party Shuffle, you can change how many recently played or upcoming songs can be viewed at the bottom of the Party Shuffle window.
• Adjust the number of songs to be displayed by clicking on the scroll bars at the bottom of the window.
• Sorting a playlist by certain columns may not change anything. If there is no information in a particular column then no change will be made.
