After you have loaded new content into any software program, it can sometimes prove difficult to find. Most programs will have folders named “Recently Added” to help you along in the process. If you are a new Zune user and are not aware of this, you may need some assistance when trying to find recently added content on your Zune.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Zune
  1. Step 1

Import content. Import all content you wish to have on your Zune software from your PC.

  2. Step 2

Open your Zune software. Once your Zune has been opened, a column on the left-hand side will appear showing your music, videos and pictures already loaded into the program.

  3. Step 3

Select an icon. The icons to choose from include Video, Music and Pictures. Once you have decided which content you want to find, click on that icon.

  4. Step 4

Refer to your library. In the left-hand column under your library will be separate lists. Some are automatically placed on your Zune and others you can create yourself like playlists.

  5. Step 5

Select Recently Added. This option will be located underneath the library. Once you click on it, it will bring up all items that were recently added to your Zune according to which category you choose (music, pictures or video).

Tips & Warnings
  • If the Recently Added playlist is not an option, then you may need to create this playlist. To do this, you can go to the File menu and choose to Create a Smart Playlist. From there you can have them automatically updated and have the recently added content be in its own playlist.
  • Double-check your monitored folders to be sure that the folders you want to import into your library are automatically added to your library.
  • Be sure your folders are set for automatic importing to your Zune library or you will not be able to access the files.
