Step 1
Check it out. Chez Goth is available online or at game stores everywhere. If you do not already have Chez Geek, we recommend playing that first, as it will familiarize you with the basics behind Chez Goth.

Step 2
Mix it up. Your can play Chez Goth either on its own or in conjunction with Chez Geek. The former will keep things gothy while the latter option allows more people to play because you’ll have a larger deck from which to draw.

Step 3
Get your gloom on. Chez Goth is quite similar to Chez Geek: you still have career cards, you’re still trying to accumulate Slack and be a good geek. Except now, you do it goth-style. Gloom points can be accumulated and used in the same manner as Slack points to help you win the game!

Step 4
Get some extra dice to keep track of your Gloom counters.

Get in character! It is most amusing when several (or all the players) act in a goth fashion during the game! Filling the air with artificial angst and gloom can be hilarious!

Step 6
Bring on the pain. In Chez Goth, it's even easier to hoark your fellow players out of Gloom and Slack points! Try the bunny slippers (too bad they’re pink!)
