The battery in the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 Headphones is used for the noise-cancelling function. The battery life fluctuates by usage but generally runs for an average of 35 hours. When the battery needs to be replaced, the battery light indicator will start flashing when 5 hours of battery life is left to be used. Following are the steps to replace the batteries in your Bose Quiet Comfort 2 Headphones:

Things You'll Need

• New battery
• Headset

Instructions

1. Rotate the top of the right earcup of the headphone inwards to open the battery compartment.

2. Take out the old battery smoothly.

3. Insert the new battery (AAA alkaline/IEC LR03) into the battery compartment.

4. Tilt the top of the earcup back into place to close the battery compartment.

• When already in a silent place, do not use the noise-cancelling facility as it will consume the battery pointlessly.
