Guilin is a city in the Chinese province of Guangxi that is known for its natural beauty, including oddly-shaped mountains and hills. In addition, local flora such as conifers and exotic bamboo varieties are delightful. Visitors can explore nearby caves and there are some tours that offer travelers a peek into the storied past of the region. The train ride from Guilin to Guangzhou offers the traveler a chance to experience the countryside between the two locations.

Prepare for the Train Ride to Guangzhou

Take the Train to Guangzhou

Arrive early at the Guilin train station. Note that there are two stations in Guilin (Guilin Zhan and Guilin Bei Zhan). Most travelers use the latter, but double-check your tickets to make sure that you arrive at the correct station.
