When booking train travel from scenic Guilin to Beijing (the capital of mainland China), you'll be traveling to one of the most picturesque cities in China. The Lijian River flows gently past limestone hills and the pale green of the river complements the lush hills like a painter's dream. Guilian's climate is mild and tourist-friendly year-round. Former U.S. Presidents Nixon and Clinton each proclaimed Guilin the most beautiful spot in China. Numerous Chinese poets have composed lyrics in honor of Guilin's beauty.
