Others travel to the Falls for casino gambling or top name entertainment at the Seneca Niagara Casino. When leaving Rochester for a visit to Niagara Falls, consider a train and book your travel on Amtrak for an easy journey to this American city of wonder.

    Find the Right Train From Rochester to Niagara Falls

  1. Step 1

    Book the westbound Empire Service for a trip on the Amtrak train from Rochester to Niagara Falls. This train is available 7 days a week.

  2. Step 2

    Take an alternate train, and book travel with the Amtrak Maple Leaf Route. This westbound train service begins in New York City and passes through Rochester and Niagara Falls on its way to Toronto, Canada.

  3. Step 3

    Call (800) USA-RAIL or visit the Amtrak Web site to find out exact times of departure, arrival and train numbers (see Resources). The information available will be most current and adjusted for recent weather delays.

    Book your train travel reservations from Rochester to Niagara falls by calling Amtrak's toll free number or by using their Web site (see Resources). Payment will require a major credit card.
