Book Your Train Tickets From Dublin to Westport

1. Know that you will be departing from the Dublin Heuston train station to travel to Westport. The Heuston Station is one of the 3 main train stations in Dublin.

2. Visit the Irish Rail Web site to book your train reservation from Dublin Heuston to Westport (see Resources). There are usually several trains available daily with most being free of interchanges. The approximate travel time between Dublin Heuston and Westport is between 3 and 4 hours.

3. Be aware that only some Intercity train routes include meals. If you purchase a standard or premiere ticket, this accommodation may be available at the time you book your train reservation online.

Tips & Warnings

• Note the reservation number given when you book your train reservation to Westport since this will be needed if you must change or cancel your reservations. To make such changes, you will need to phone the Iarnród Éireann Travel Centre (see Resources).
