-
Step 2
Avoid taking the CAT (City Airport Train) since it is only a few minutes faster than the S7, but costs a good deal more.
-
Step 3
Enjoy some of the sights and sounds of Vienna, Austria's largest city, before heading off to Linz.
-
Step 1
Take advantage of the information centers located in the Westbanhof. They are staffed by people who speak fluent English, in case your German is rusty.
-
Step 2
Appreciate the Westbanhof structure, which was rebuilt after World War II and is now a national monument.
-
Step 1
Note that trains with the prefix IC/SC travel within Austria, trains marked EC are international high speed trains and trains without the prefix are normal speed trains which travel within Austria.
-
Step 2
Decide whether you want to speed to Linz aboard an express train or take in the scenery on a normally-paced train. To book train travel From Vienna To Linz, call Rail Europe at (888) 382-RAIL or visit the link below. Also, see the Resources section for a link to OBB.
