The Panasonic DVD-LV57 portable DVD player is an elegant solution to watching DVDs on the move. It is compact, has a bright and capable screen, and an ample battery pack. Before you watch DVDs on the road, though, you’ll need to prepare your unit. Here’s how to use the battery pack with the Panasonic DVD-LV57 portable DVD player:

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Panasonic DVD-LV57 portable DVD player
  • Battery pack
  1. Step 1

Remove the unit and the battery pack from the packaging. Do this carefully, so it will not be damaged.

  2. Step 2

Insert the battery’s tabs into the slots on the bottom of the player. Slide it into the unit until it clicks which means it is secure.

  3. Step 3

Turn the unit off. The battery will only charge properly when the unit is turned off.

  4. Step 4

Plug the unit into AC power using the power cord. The jack is on the left side of the player as you face the screen.

  5. Step 5

Watch the LCD light. When it is on, it is charging. When it is off, it is done charging and you can unplug the unit and turn it on.

  6. Step 6

Turn the brightness of the display down. This will increase the playtime of your unit when running off the battery.
