How to Play Songs on a Zune
Zune is Microsoft's answer to the Apple's iPod, a portable MP3 player. After connecting a Zune to your computer and synchronizing your library, you can start playing songs. Here's how.

Install Zune software on your computer. Pop the CD that came with the Zune into your computer and follow the on-screen instructions.

At the setup wizard's prompt, connect the Zune to your computer.

The software will ask you to identify which music files you want to add to your Zune. Make your selections.

Once installation and setup is complete, disconnect your Zune.

Select "Music" from the Zune home screen using the control pad. Press "OK" to open the item.

To change how music appears (by song, by artist, by album, by genre or by playlist), press left or right.

Choose a category. Use the control pad to select an artist, song, genre, album or playlist you want to hear.

Select a song and press "OK" to play.

Tips & Warnings
Hit the "Shuffle" button in Step 8 to play the songs in a random order.
Press and hold "Back" while your song is playing to explore your Zune without interrupting the song.
