The Pine D’Music SM-300T digital music player has several equalizer modes to fit different types of music. Read these steps to learn how to change the equalizer mode for your favorite songs.

Things You'll Need:

  • Pine D'Music MP3 CD Player Model SM-300T
  • MP3 CD
  1. Step 1

    Load an MP3 CD into your Pine D’Music MP3 CD player.

  2. Step 2

    Press the "Play/Pause" button and hold it until the MP3 CD player powers on.

  3. Step 3

    Wait for the CD player to stop spinning and the disk's information to appear on the screen.

  4. Step 4

    Press the "Play/Pause" button to begin playing a track.

  5. Step 5

    For enhanced bass, press the "EQ" button once to choose DBB equalizer mode.

  6. Step 6

    For vocal-based pop songs, press the "EQ" button again to choose Pop mode.

  7. Step 7

    For instrumental pieces with strings and other classical instruments, press "EQ" once more to choose Classic mode.

  8. Step 8

    To choose Jazz mode, press "EQ" again. This mode accentuates the bass and the treble, while scooping out the middle frequencies.

  9. Step 9

    For dance music with enhanced bass, select Disco equalizer mode by pressing "EQ" again.

  10. Step 10

    Press "EQ" once more to turn off the equalizer. Your Pine D’Music MP3 CD player will display “SEOFF” when your equalizer is in normal mode.

Tips & Warnings
  • The equalizer ("EQ") button is on the far left, by the "Album" button.
  • Lower quality recordings often sound best in normal mode.
  • Only MP3 tracks will be affected by "EQ" settings.
