1. Open iTunes on your computer.

2. Locate the icon for the iTunes Store. You will find it in the "Source" list on the left, under "Store." Click it once to access the store.

3. Click the "Sign In" button and enter your login information. If you do not have an account, click the "Create New Account" button in the "Login" window.

4. Browse the featured content. The iTunes main page offers many featured artists and songs. Click any that interest you.

5. Search for a specific song. Type a search word or phrase into the box in the top right corner and hit "Enter."

6. Double-click a song title to preview it before buying.

7. Click on "Buy Song." If you have one-click shopping, you’ll be asked to confirm your purchase and the download will begin immediately. If not, the song will appear in your shopping cart.

8. Click the "Shopping Cart" icon to check out. Review your order, and then click "Buy Now" to download every song in your cart.
