The ATN Night Patriot Night Vision Monocular is a multipurpose device that you can use with a weapon kit. Here’s how.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Long-range infrared illuminator
  • ATN Night Patriot Night Vision Monocular
  • Pelican waterproof hard case
  • 4X90 mm six element lens
  • Weapon kit consisting of Red on Green weapon sight eyepiece
  • Mounting rings

Step1
Remove the monocular's eyepiece.
Step2
Attach the "Red on Green" weapon sight eyepiece to the main body of the ATN monocular.
Step3
Remove the 30-mm front lens and attach the 90-mm lens.
Step4
Place the large mounting ring around the front lens.
Step5
Mount the monocular to the standard weaver rail.
Step6
Remove the cap from the "Red on Green" weapon sight eyepiece.
Step7
Insert a CR2032 3-volt lithium battery in the eyepiece.
Step8
Adjust the brightness by turning the numbered dial on the weapon sight eyepiece.
Step9
Adjust windage and elevation by removing the dust caps from the knobs.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remember that each click of the numbered dial on the "Red on Green" weapon sight eyepiece equals 1/8 inch at 100 yards.
