The ATN Night Patriot Night Vision Monocular comes with a long-range infrared illuminator that lets you see in the dark. Here's how to use it.

Things You'll Need:

  • Long-range infrared illuminator
  • ATN Night Patriot Night Vision Monocular
  • Battery
  1. Step 1

    Install the battery for the long-range infrared illuminator. Unscrew the cap and insert the battery in the direction indicated on the diagram you see on the illuminator.

  2. Step 2

    Attach the illuminator to the monocular. Twist the thumbscrew on the illuminator into the thread on the body of the monocular.

  3. Step 3

    Make sure that the illuminator is shining directly into the middle of your view. If it does not, unscrew the locking ring and adjust the main body of the illuminator.

  4. Step 4

    Aim the illuminator towards an object and retighten the locking ring.

  5. Step 5

    Turn the illuminator's lens to focus the beam's width.
