Instructions

    • 1

      Open iTunes on your computer.

    • 2

Click the "+" button in the lower left hand corner to create a new playlist. Drag and drop songs from your Library file to the icon of your playlist.

    • 3

Click the playlist icon once to view its contents. You can reorder the tracks and make any last-minute changes.

    • 4

Insert a blank disk into your CD-R drive.

    • 5

Click "Burn Disc." In iTunes 7, this button is at the bottom right. In older versions of iTunes, it's a circular button at the top right.

    • 6

Wait for the disk to finish burning. Do not close iTunes or open your CD-R drive until the burn finishes.

Tips & Warnings

  • To avoid skips or failed burns, refrain from running other programs while burning.

  • You'll find customizable burn options for advanced users. Click "Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Burning" to access them.

  • If your playlist is longer than 80 minutes, you may have to trim it or use additional disks.
