How to Use the Browser on Your Archos 104 MP3 Player

The browser on your Archos 104 MP3 player is similar to the My Computer function on your PC. With it you can easily find any of the music files and pictures you have loaded into the MP3 player or any playlist that you have created. Read on to discover how to access the browser.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Archos 104 MP3 player
Step1
Turn on your Archos MP3 player and find the Browser icon on the main menu screen. Highlight the icon using the arrow keys and press the "Enter" button on your device.
Step2
You will see two folders listed, one labeled "Pictures" and one labeled "Music." Using the arrow keys, select the folder you want. Press "Enter."
Step3
To look for a picture file, scroll through the list of files until you find the picture you are looking for, then press "Enter" to open the file.
Step4
To find a music file, find the playlist that contains the song you are looking for and press "Enter." Find the name of the song in the playlist. Using your arrow keys, highlight the song. Press "Enter" to play it.
Step5
To go back to the previous directory, use the arrow keys to select the file labeled "Parent Folder" under the status bar at the top of your screen. Press "Enter."

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also use the Music and Photo icons on the main screen to go directly to your files without using the browser.
  • Do not delete the default "Music" and "Picture" folders.
