How to Operate a yacht

Spending time on and around the ocean is one of humanity's most primal activities. Our ancestors from way back in time fished as a means of feeding themselves and their families. Now, we often spend time on the water for recreational purposes. Whatever your purpose is, follow these steps for operating a yacht.

2. Think about the conditions under which you usually operate your yacht. If you fish early in the morning, store a light source on your yacht.

4. It is always a good idea to have extra first aid supplies with you.
   
   

5. When you go out for a day in a yacht, be sure you have adequate sources of hydration and nutrition. Even in cooler weather, you will need to replenish lost fluid.
   
   

6. Be sure to have a container on board for holding any items you may use on the yacht so that they do not interfere with the yacht's functioning.
   
   

7. Always carry extra sunscreen on your yacht.
