Instructions
  1. Step 1

Always consider safety first. Each passenger needs to have a life jacket.

  2. Step 2

Think about the conditions under which you usually operate your pontoon. If you fish early in the morning, store a light source on your boat.

  3. Step 3

If you operate the pontoon in a colder climate, be sure to have extra cold weather clothing on board.

  4. Step 4

It is always a good idea to have extra first aid supplies with you.

  5. Step 5

When you go out for a day on a pontoon, be sure you have adequate sources of hydration and nutrition. Even in cooler weather, you will need to replenish lost fluid.

  6. Step 6

Be sure to have a container on board for holding any items you may use on the pontoon such as inner tubes.

  7. Step 7

Always carry extra sunscreen on your pontoon.

  8. Step 8

Be sure to fill your pontoon up with gas prior to starting off on an adventure.

  9. Step 9

Maintenance is the key for enjoying your pontoon. Take the time to perform the maintenance yourself or consider having your pontoon maintained by a professional.
