How to Change the Sound Settings on Your Archos 104 MP3 Player

Before listening to your Archos 104 MP3 player, you should set the volume and balance. Follow the instructions below to change the sound settings on your player.

Things You'll Need:

  • Archos 104 MP3 Player
  1. Step 1

    Turn on your MP3 player and select "Setup" from the main screen using the keypad. In the Setup menu, select the "Sound" icon.

  2. Step 2

    Highlight "Volume" and press the "Enter" button. Use the left and right arrow keys to set the volume. Press the "Enter" button again when you've finished.

  3. Step 3

    Highlight "Balance" and press the "Enter" button. Use the left and right arrows to adjust your balance. Notice that the number changes as you press the arrow keys. Press "Enter" when finished.

  4. Step 4

    Highlight "Sound Effect" and cycle through the options to find a setting that matches the style of music on your player. Press the "Enter" button.

  5. Step 5

    When you finish, highlight "Sound" and press the "Enter" button. Play a song to test your new settings.
