How to Set Time and Date on a Rio Karma MP3 Player

Now that you have your new Rio Karma out of the box and ready to go, you can set the time and date on it. Here's how.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Step 1

Turn on your Karma MP3 player. You may have to charge the battery or plug it into the wall, but power must be on.
Step 2

Locate the "Menu" button, which is next to a big round button. Press to summon the main menu.
Step 3

Select "Settings." A new menu will appear. Choose "Time & Date."
Step 4

Select "Set Time." Set hour, minute and AM/PM, toggling the numbers with the wheel on the upper right of the player.
Step 5

Select "Set Date." Set month, day and year, toggling the numbers with the wheel on the upper right of the player.
Step 6

Select "Done" to save your settings.

Tips & Warnings

You can format the style the time appears in--either 12- or 24-hour--in the "Time & Date" menu.
You can also choose the country for your default settings: USA, Europe or Japan.
