Most electronic devices aren’t designed for southpaws, which can be a bit frustrating for them. But you can adapt your Rio Karma MP3 player for left-handed use. Here's s how to do it.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Rio Karma MP3 player
  1. Step 1

Turn on your Karma. You may have to charge the battery or plug it into the wall, but the power must be on.

  2. Step 2

Locate the "Menu" button, which is next to a big round button on the left side of the player (until you change the orientation).

  3. Step 3

Press "Menu" to summon the main options menu.

  4. Step 4

Select "Settings," which will bring up a new menu. Choose "Orientation," and then select "Left-Handed Orientation."

  5. Step 5

Select "Done" to save your settings. You will return to the "Settings" menu.

Tips & Warnings
  • After your switch to left-handed mode, all the buttons and the screen will reverse. Volume up becomes volume down and vice versa. The Riostick also reverses directions (up becomes down, etc.)
  • To revert to "Right-Handed Orientation," follow the steps above and switch to "Right-Handed."
  • All Rio Karma directions are for right-handed orientation, so mentally reverse the directions after you have set the player for left-handeders.
