How to Set a Rio Karma MP3 Player to Left-Handed Mode

Most electronic devices aren’t designed for southpaws, which can be a bit frustrating for them. But you can adapt your Rio Karma MP3 player for left-handed use. Here's s how to do it.

• Rio Karma MP3 player

1. Turn on your Karma. You may have to charge the battery or plug it into the wall, but the power must be on.

2. Locate the "Menu" button, which is next to a big round button on the left side of the player (until you change the orientation).

3. Press "Menu" to summon the main options menu.

4. Select "Settings," which will bring up a new menu. Choose "Orientation," and then select "Left-Handed Orientation."

5. Select "Done" to save your settings. You will return to the "Settings" menu.

Tips & Warnings

• After your switch to left-handed mode, all the buttons and the screen will reverse. Volume up becomes volume down and vice versa. The Riostick also reverses directions (up becomes down, etc.)
• To revert to "Right-Handed Orientation," follow the steps above and switch to "Right-Handed."
• All Rio Karma directions are for right-handed orientation, so mentally reverse the directions after you have set the player for left-handeders.
