How to Play Tracks from a Specific Year on a Rio Karma MP3 Player

The Rio Karma MP3 player gives you the option of playing tracks from a specific year. So, if you loved the music of 1985, just follow these steps to find and play tracks from back then.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Rio Karma MP3 player
Step1
Turn on the Rio Karma MP3 player by pressing the "Power" button located on the top left of the player when the screen is facing you. Wait for the player to initialize.
Step2
Go to the main menu. Press the "Menu" button above the player’s screen on the left.
Step3
Highlight "Play Music" and select it by pressing the Rio Stick located in the button cluster on the player. You can also press and hold the "Menu" button to get to the Play Music screen.
Step4
Scroll down to the category "Year" in the Play Music screen. When "Year" is highlighted, press the Rio Stick to select it.
Step5
Select the year you want to see from the list on the player’s screen. This will bring up a list of all track titles released that year. If you want to see tracks from all listed years, select "Play All Years."
Step6
Find the track you want to hear from the list and select the track by pressing the Rio Stick on the player. If you want to hear all tracks from that year, then select "Play All Tracks."

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also find tracks by selecting "Album," "Genre" or "Artist" in the Categories menu.
