How to Play a Playlist Created on a Rio Karma MP3 Player

Playlists organize music from different artists and genres into a single file so you can be your own DJ. Whether you want music that will pump you up at the gym or help you relax after a long day at work, a personal playlist gives you that ability without having to search for the tracks. Follow these steps to play a playlist created on a Rio Karma MP3 Player.

Things You’ll Need:

• Rio Karma MP3 Player

1. Make sure the power of the Rio Karma MP3 Player is turned on. If the power is not on, press the Power button and wait for the player to initialize.
2. Go to the Menu screen. Press the Menu button on the front of the player just above the left side of the screen.
3. Highlight "Play Music" and select it with the Rio Stick located in the center of the button cluster on the upper front of the player. Another way to get to the "Play Music" screen is to press and hold the Menu button.
4. Select a Playlist from the categories that appear. All the playlists that have been created on the Rio Karma MP3 player will appear on the screen.
5. Play a single playlist by highlighting and selecting the playlist. You can also play all playlists by selecting "Play All Playlists."

Tips & Warnings

• If there are no playlists on the Rio Karma MP3 player, you will need to create one.
• You can also play music by selecting Artist, Track, Album or Genre from the categories.
• Not all audio formats work with the Rio Karma MP3 Player. If a track does not play, check the track’s compatibility in the User’s Guide.
