One of the easiest ways to get your favorite songs onto a Rio Karma MP3 Player is to move them directly from a CD that you own. That way you already have the tracks, and you save the time of looking for music and purchasing it online. Here's how to copy a track from a CD to a Rio Karma MP3 Player.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Rio Karma MP3 Player
  • Computer
  1. Step 1

Find the Rio Music Manager on your computer and launch the application. (If you have not uploaded the Rio Music Manager program, you will need to do so before you can copy tracks from a CD to your Rio Karma MP3 Player.)

  2. Step 2

Choose a CD with tracks you want to copy to your player. Insert the CD into the CD drive on your computer.

  3. Step 3

Find the Rio Music Manager Device list and click on the CD-ROM icon. Rio Music Manager will read the CD and display the contents on the computer screen.

  4. Step 4

Select the tracks you wish to copy to your Rio Karma MP3 Player by using your mouse to left-click on the track. The track will highlight when it has been selected. If the track does not highlight, left-click on the track again.

  5. Step 5

Click on the swooping arrow icon to copy the track to Rio Music Manager. If you are unsure which icon to use, check the User’s Guide.

Tips & Warnings
  • Highlight multiple tracks to copy by pressing Shift or Ctrl when you left-click.
  • Highlight all tracks by pressing "Ctrl + A."
  • Not all music formats will work with the Rio Karma MP3 Player. Check the User’s Guide for acceptable formats.
